Panasonic SDR-S10, the world's smallest camcoder

Camcoders have long surfced in the market—but because they were too big or too bulky, gizmos didn't have much of the guts to carry them to capture life's precious moments anywhere they may be.

Late models of camcoders for domestic sale have tried to invade the market to gain revenue. Due to this, competition, in terms of quality and size prevailed among gadgets manufacturers.

Google to explore OS market with Chrome OS

Google, one of the world’s leading search engines, has been airing out plans about releasing its own personal operating system for computers. The issue flared up yet another expected conflict between the web search magnate and the world’s leading OS provider, Microsoft.

The new operating system would be based on its Chrome browser and would be an open source OS. The new OS is an attempt to re-think what operating systems should be. The company would open source “Chrome OS” for user input and netbooks running the system would be available by next year.

Chrome OS is designed to work fast yet simple. It is set to start up and get users connected to the rest of the world in just a matter of seconds. Just that, no fuss! The new OS is initially set to dominate netbook OS market. Netbooks, which are expected to perform fast and reliably, aside from their being highly portable are supposed to be easy preys to this new system which promises uses of reliable, fast, and heavily efficient performance

Advertisements has been released for Chrome OS to address the fact that the browser has only held a parcel of the market dominated by Microsoft’s default, Internet Explorer. Microsoft’s search engine Bing, as a hit back scheme by Microsoft, aimed to bite a part at Google’s huge revenue in the web search trade.

Bing had drained an 8.23 percent share of the US search market in June from earlier search engines including Google and Yahoo, 7.21 percent in April and 7.81 percent in May. However, Google continues to rule the web search market garnering 78.48 percent share for June.

Google already has created an operating system called android, but it is a different entity from Chrome OS even though some features are almost identical.

Android is only used for mobile phones at the moment, but it has exhibited a hint of Google’s increasing interest in extending beyond its search engine dominance. Google Chrome OS will be for people who spend time surfing the net, and is designed to operate computers ranging from small netbooks to full-size desktop systems.

Google looks at moving in the mobile industry, a move to gain in the highly competitive smartphone market. With new smartphone models and more portable devices showing up, competition i expected to flare up, and with Google's Chrome OS, the search engine leade is confident to be among the leading competitors.

PAcquiao-Cotto match almost done

The match-up of Filipino champ Manny Pacquiao and Puerto Rican idol Miguel Cotto is almost cutting in to an understanding, with people from Team Pacquiao and the camp of Cotto gradually toning down their standards on their once firm points about weight and the money.

Freddie Roach, the coach of the pesky Filipino icon who initially wanted the call the match at 143 lbs, has swayed to promoter Bob Arum’s match suggestion at 145 lbs. The same weight the people from the camp of the puerto rican contingent the match to proceed.

People from Team Pacquiao has been hesitant to call it a match at the weight set by the people from Cotto’s side but Roach is confident enough about Pacman’s prowess that he said he cares less about the issues considering the fight. In the end, Pacquiao will make the final decision. Roach also formerly suggested that Pacquiao get the fatter purse, claiming 70 percent of the total match revenue, leavng only 30 percent for the Puerto Rican icon’s wallet.

People from Team Pacquiao is anticipating of a greater revenue— gretaer than what they got from the Pacquiao-Hatton match which ended to be a fiasco for the British Swetheart. Pacquiao’s ilk is letting down their demands in wieght but they sure have no plans of letting down their demands in terms of income, so the team will not release any final decision until matters regarding the purse has been ironed out.

Cotto’s camp has not been surprised about the movements from Pacman’s camp, but they reiterated that wieght is only one of the many issues being discussed by both parties.

Organizers has been hinting Pacquiao that Cotto will go for a fist session even with a purse division lower than 60-40, but whatever the division outcome is, Pacman’s big pockets will sure be almost full by the time the match gets done. Win or lose, he gets the money.

The purse could be more than enough to fuel his war machine for the upcoming elections—that’s if hes ready to improve his o wins-1 lose political record to 0 wins-2 loses this time.
